Recognising communication as the centre around which all other organisational phenomena revolve, this programme is designed to address the essential requirements for effective communication in diverse, dynamic organisations.

Participants are exposed to the use of essential English language tools and techniques in a variety of professional business contexts. Participants develop practical knowledge and skills that enable effective communication in different modes and for various purposes.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this programme, the participants
will be able to do the following in the context of the targeted
organisation(s):

  1. Analyse the social context of business communication.
  2. Use various media and contexts to communicate individual
    and team ideas and feelings effectively and responsibly.
  3. Conceptualise, design and develop a broad range of
    widely applicable business documents.
  4. Compile and execute professional business presentations

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

  2. Contemporary issues in business communication
  3. Interpersonal communication
  4. Business writing skills
  5. Compiling business communication documents and
    reports
  6. Business presentation skills.

Applicants are required to be proficient in English prior to admission to the programme.
