It will teach you how to connect with peers and subordinates and how to manage your own emotions, as well as the emotions of others. This can play a part in determining how successful you are in both the business environment and your personal life.

When we look at truly extraordinary people who inspire those around them and make a difference, it becomes clear that they do this by connecting with people at a personal and emotional level. What differentiates them from others is not their IQ (intellectual intelligence), but rather their EQ (emotional intelligence). This programme will help you to develop your emotional intelligence.


Once you have successfully completed this programme, you will be able to:

  1.  Explain the concept of emotional intelligence.
  2. Identify techniques to understand, use and appreciate the role of emotional intelligence in the workplace.
  3. Recognise different emotions in yourself and others, and identify how to manage them.
  4. Create a plan to improve your EQ.

Open enrolment, but proficiency in English is required.

Applicants are required to be proficient in English prior to admission to the programme. Applicants whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of proficiency.
